The LGBT Intergroup will host a seminar to present the report and discuss findings of the new report on trans and intersex people under EU law, with the authors, MEPs, institutions and civil society in the European Parliament (in Brussels) on Wednesday 26 September as it was published on their website.
I would suggest some further questions to discuss:
- What should be the right policy with those member states, in which violence against LGBT people occurs?
- How could EC force the governments of those member states where the violence occurs to provide the effective protection of LGBT people’s human rights?
- How could be achieve in the several international political forums (e.g. UN) to define the homophobic and transphobic crimes in the international jurisdiction as crimes against humanity?
