Slovak Christian activists have gathered 408.000 signatures to support their petition campaign demanding a referendum on the protection of the traditional family and the ban on adoptions by homosexual couples, the Alliance for Family group announced today – wrote praguepost.com. In fact, the Slovakian homophobe activists are not only to ban marriage and adoptions by same sex couples, but they want to exclude giving any kind of rights for people living in such a partnership.
Slovakia has not introduced registered partnerships for same sex couples, and the parliament added to the Slovak constitution the statement that marriage is a union between man and woman in June this year. But it was not enough for conservative Christian activists, they continued their petition campaign anyway.
However, Mr. Andrej Kiska, president of Slovakia can stop the violation of LGBT people’s fundamental human rights, because he has the right to refuse the referendum or ask the Constitutional Court to check the questions asked in the referendum proposal.
Let’s say together president Kiska, not to call the referendum without asking the statement of the Constitutional Court about the questions! Join the online petition at
